AI can help you turn notes into research questions, organize an offer, and draft your first website. A business still needs someone willing to pay for an outcome. Begin with that person and their problem.

1. Pick a customer and a narrow problem

“Marketing for small businesses” is too broad for a first offer. “Helping independent tutors explain their services and collect inquiries” is easier to test. Describe who has the problem, how they handle it today, and what a useful improvement would look like. Ask your AI to identify assumptions in that description.

2. Have conversations before building

Talk to potential customers. Ask what is difficult, what they have tried, and what makes them act. Avoid presenting an AI-generated market estimate as evidence that someone will buy. Keep notes on the language people actually use; those notes can improve your offer and your articles.

3. Write a small, specific offer

Specify the deliverable, scope, timeline, and exclusions. For the tutor example, the first offer could be a clear service page and a working inquiry process. Do not promise a number of students you cannot control. Let your AI help you draft the explanation, then check that it matches what you can deliver.

4. Create a simple website

Your first site needs to explain who you help, what you do, and how to contact you. YG3 can provide website pages and a blog. You can publish on a free YG3 subdomain; a custom domain requires an eligible paid plan. Begin with clear information and a working contact route before investing in a large content library.

5. Answer buying questions

Choose questions customers ask before they decide. A tutor might explain lesson structure, suitable ages, or what happens in a first session. Use your AI to draft from your notes. Add the actual details of your service and remove anything you cannot verify. Publish articles that help people make a decision.

6. Reach people respectfully

Use existing relationships and relevant communities to learn and share your offer. Explain why the offer is relevant to the recipient. If you later add outbound email, paid ads, or LinkedIn publishing through YG3, check the plan, account setup, and approval process first. More activity does not substitute for a useful offer.

7. Review what happened

Keep a simple record of conversations, qualified inquiries, sales, and delivery feedback. Each week, ask what people understood, what confused them, and why they did or did not buy. Improve one part of the offer or website based on that evidence.

A brief to give your AI

Help me test an offer for [customer] who struggles with [problem]. Use these conversation notes: [notes]. Identify what I know, what I am assuming, and three questions I should ask next. Then draft a simple service-page outline without invented results or testimonials.

For example, if three tutors describe difficulty explaining lesson packages, your next step is to test a clearer package description with them. It is not to build a full marketing agency before the offer has a customer.
